Around three weeks for a straightforward brochure site, counting from the moment I have your content (text, photos, logo). A full redesign or an online shop is more like four to eight weeks. The schedule is written into the quote, and I stick to it.
You do, entirely. The domain name is registered in your name, the hosting is in your name, and you receive every login at delivery. If one day you want to work with someone else, you leave with your website. It is yours, not a rental.
The site is built for it from the start: heading structure, meta tags, loading speed, Google Business Profile. On local searches of the “your trade + your town” kind, the first results usually appear within two to four months. Nobody can promise you the top spot — be wary of anyone who does.
No. I can write the copy from an interview with you — often the best way to end up with something that actually sounds like you. For photos, I point you to a local photographer or to decent stock libraries. It is quoted as a separate line, openly.
Yes, and it is a fair share of my work. I start with an audit: what can be kept, what has to be rebuilt, what has to be migrated. I also take over sites whose previous provider has vanished, including when the hosting or the domain name has to be recovered first.
I set the site up on hosting registered in your name, usually with IONOS, with the HTTPS certificate configured. After delivery you have a choice: either you run everything yourself — you have the logins and the training — or you take a maintenance plan and I handle updates, backups and security.
