Privacy policy

What happens to what you send me, how long I keep it, and how to have it deleted.

English version, provided for convenience. Ampixelweb is a French business, and the French privacy policy is the version that has legal force. Where the two differ, the French version prevails.

Data controller

Amil Mustafi EI, sole trader trading as Ampixelweb, 52 rue du Jura, 74100 Ambilly, France. Contact: ampixelwebcontact@gmail.com.

What is collected, and why

This site collects only what you enter yourself in the quote request form:

  • Name and, where applicable, company name — so that I can address you properly.
  • Email address and telephone number — so that I can get back to you.
  • Project type and description — so that I can prepare a useful answer rather than a standard message.

No sensitive data is requested. No data is sold, rented or passed on for commercial purposes.

Lawful basis

Processing rests on your consent, given through the tick box on the form, and on the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Articles 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

Retention period

  • Enquiry with no follow-up: three years from the last contact, then deletion.
  • Enquiry that becomes a contract: the duration of the commercial relationship, then the statutory retention period for accounting records (ten years).

Recipients

Your data is handled by me alone. It passes through and is kept with the following technical providers:

  • Formspree Inc. (United States) — delivers the contents of the form to my inbox. Your message passes through it for the time of the delivery.
  • IONOS SARL (France) — website hosting, servers located in the European Union.
  • Google Ireland Limited — Gmail, through which your enquiries reach me and where they are kept.

Delivery through Formspree involves a transfer of your data to the United States. It is covered by the data processing agreement entered into with that provider. No other transfer outside the European Union is made.

Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. To exercise it, write to ampixelwebcontact@gmail.com: I reply within one month at the latest.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.

Cookies and analytics

As things stand, this site sets no cookies: no advertising tracker, no analytics, no embedded social media button. No consent banner is therefore required.

The typefaces and the map library are served from this site and call no outside domain. A single third-party service is called by your browser:

  • OpenStreetMap — the map background on the home page, loaded on that page only. No cookie is set, but your IP address is sent to that service for the duration of the request. The other pages of the site call nothing at all.
If you ever add an analytics tool — Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible — this section has to be rewritten, and a compliant consent banner becomes compulsory for any tracker that is not strictly necessary.
